Harvesting of Paddy
Today marked a truly special and memorable moment for our school as our students actively participated in the harvesting of paddy that was carefully planted and nurtured right here on our campus. What began months ago as a simple learning initiative has now blossomed into a meaningful and enriching experience—one that beautifully showcased the rewards of patience, teamwork, and dedication.
Under the constant support, encouragement, and expert guidance of our respected Director, Mr. Deepak Neopane, the students were involved in every stage of this journey. From preparing the soil and sowing the seeds to watering, nurturing, and finally harvesting the crops, they experienced the complete cycle of agriculture firsthand. This hands-on learning opportunity helped them gain a deeper understanding of the effort, time, and care that goes into growing the food we consume every day.
The joy and excitement on the students’ faces were truly heartwarming as they stepped into the field, touched the golden crops, and experienced the process of harvesting for the very first time. For many, it was not just an activity, but a moment of discovery—connecting them to nature in a way that no classroom lesson could replicate.
Such experiential learning activities play a vital role in shaping young minds. They instill a sense of responsibility, respect for nature, and appreciation for the hard work of farmers. Beyond academics, these moments teach life skills, values, and awareness that stay with students for years to come.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Director Sir for taking this wonderful initiative, for inspiring the students, and for guiding them throughout this journey with dedication and vision. It is through such thoughtful efforts that education becomes truly meaningful, engaging, and transformative.
This experience will surely remain a cherished memory for our students—a reminder that true learning often happens when we step outside the classroom and connect with the world around us.
